United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Senior User Experience Researcher and Designer, February 2017 to present

I currently work on the Museum Experience and Digital Media team at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.

In this role, I conduct user research online and in person for digital projects and physical exhibits. I test and construct information architecture and develop creative strategy for responsive websites that further the Museum's mission. I also design screens and interactions for projects, and work collaboratively with coworkers and stakeholders across the Museum. 

Recent Projects

  • Jewish History of Ukraine: Web content for the Holocaust Encyclopedia that focuses on Jewish and Holocaust history for Ukrainian students and professors.
    Lead UX Researcher: user research in Ukraine and online, including focus groups, user interviews, design workshops, and surveys
  • Redesign of the Early Warning Project from the Center for the Prevention of Genocide, which provides data and insight about countries that are at risk for mass killing 
    Lead UX Designer: user research, usability testing, design, and front end development 
  • Redesign of the Museum's Collection Search

  • Companion website for the Americans and the Holocaust special exhibition in collaboration with the exhibitions and content teams

  • Rapid prototyping for a revitalization of the Museum's primary physical exhibition, in collaboration with IDEO
